1. Definitions

In these Terms of Service, the following definitions apply:

• ClearTok: The cleartok.io website, the ClearTok browser extension, and the ClearTok mobile apps for iOS and Android, operated by Data Traces LLC.
• Data Traces LLC (also "we", "us", or "our"): The company that owns and operates ClearTok.
• Application: The ClearTok browser extension and the ClearTok iOS and Android apps, individually or collectively.
• Service: The ClearTok platform and all related services provided by Data Traces LLC, including the website and the Application.
• User: Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
• Content: All text, images, videos, audio, or other materials uploaded, submitted, or displayed on the Service.

2. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must have a valid TikTok account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your TikTok account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Some features of the Application — including subscription benefits, usage limits, and account management on iOS and Android — require a ClearTok account. You are responsible for keeping your ClearTok sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your ClearTok account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using our service and to update this information as necessary to keep it current.

3. Use of the Service

ClearTok is a user-controlled tool that helps you remove multiple TikTok reposts from your own account in batches. Each removal is initiated by you, runs under your own logged-in TikTok session, and performs the same publicly available action you would otherwise carry out manually, one item at a time. You choose which items are included, and you can pause or stop the process at any moment. ClearTok does not act on its own and does not target accounts other than the one you have signed into.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, only on TikTok accounts that you own or are authorized to manage, and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of ClearTok complies with applicable law and with TikTok's then-current terms and policies.

You may not use the Service to violate TikTok's terms of service, attempt to bypass TikTok's rate limits or anti-abuse systems, scrape or harvest content that is not your own, or engage in any activity that could harm TikTok's platform or other users.

When you obtain the iOS or Android app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your installation and use are also subject to that store's end-user terms in addition to these Terms.

4. Privacy and Data

ClearTok performs core TikTok actions on your device — in your browser when you use the extension, and on your phone when you use the iOS or Android app. We do not store your TikTok credentials, TikTok session cookies, or copies of your videos on our servers.

5. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

6. Limitation of Liability

ClearTok is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or account suspension by TikTok.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on our website.
